Papapietro Perry Pinot Noir Peters Vineyard 2005 750ml
$59.99
Russian River Valley Pinot Noir
95 pts Pinot Report
"Medium ruby color; bit tight with some black cherry and spice aromas; rich and deep with black cherry, spice and a lush, silky texture; great structure and balance; long finish. This Pinot has a lot of depth and complexity that's just not showing right now. It needs more time in the bottle and a bunch of time in the glass."
"Decant for a minimum of an hour. An excellent pairing for a multitude of gamey meat dishes from rich duck confit to loin of venison. Cellar now through 2012."

Paradise Ridge Pinot Noir 2006 750ml
$35.99
Double Gold Medal, Sonoma County Harvest Fair
Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir
"Sharp red berry, cherry and spice with a long complex finish. With only twenty minutes of decanting time, there is a subtly earthy forrest floor finish. Though a wonderful sipping pinot, the 2006 pinot noir from Paradise Ridge comes into its own when paired with dishes such as a mushroom and vegetable terrine, grilled salmon or roast duck. Cellar now through 2013."

Russian River Valley Sauvignon Blanc
Grandview Vineyard
"The Grandview Vineyard Estate Sauvignon Blanc was made to express the varietal characteristics of the fruit on the vine. Hand picked and cluster selected by the winemaker, only the finest grapes past the test. Delicately made, yet packed with flavor: fresh pineapple, grapefruit and honey come to mind. Refreshing and crisp with exceptional balance and varietal character, the long lingering tropical fruit flavors finish with considerable finesse."
"A great pairing for seafood, caesar salad with sauteed prawns. Enjoy now."

Quinta de la Rosa Vintage Porto 1992
$79.99
1992 Vintage Port
Portugal
93 pts Robert Parker
"The powerhouse 1992 Vintage Port exhibits a huge, highly extracted, chocolate and black-raspberry-scented nose, full body, unctuously-textured flavors, moderate tannin, and a chewy, long finish. It requires 7-8 years of cellaring as it is revealing more structure than other 1992s. It should keep for 25-30 years."

Ramey Cabernet Sauvignon Jericho Canyon 2004 750ml
$125.00
Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Jericho Canyon Vineyard
94 pts Robert Parker
"The 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon Jericho Canyon Vineyard has an inky dark ruby/purple color, a wonderfully sweet nose of espresso roast, fudge, blackberry, and cassis with a hint of incense and smoke. The wine is full-bodied, broadly flavored, opulent, and voluptuous, and that in itself seems to give the wine its current appeal, although I think this is a candidate for at least two decades of cellaring."

Robert Hunter Sparkling Brut de Noirs 1999 750ml
$39.99
Sonoma Valley
"Robert Hunter has produced sparkling wine for 25 years. Brut de noir is a blend of 60% pinot noir and 40% chardonnay. This fruit is harvested early, about 18 brix. Low sugars make a drier crisper style of wine. The 1999 was left on tirage for 4 years.
The 1999 is yet another excellent example of the consistent quality sparklings produced by Robert Hunter. Straw-colored with a nose of toasted yeast and stone, the palate is a blend of Macintosh red apple, apricot, yellow peach and a hint of cardamom. Pair with a spicy green papaya salad or enjoy as an excellent sipping wine. Drink through 2010."

Robert Rue Wood Road Reserve Zinfandel 2005 750ml
$33.99
Gold Medal, Sonoma County Harvest Fair
Russian River Valley Zinfandel
Century Old Vines
"The balance of lush fruit, rich creamy oak and firm yet softening tannins creates an ideal structure for this classic old vine Zin. Seductive aromas of ripe brambly blackberries blended with sweet vanilla and subtle hints of black pepper. The smooth mouthfeel reveals a core of juicy ripe blackberry fused with mocha and spicy black pepper. The depth of these delicious flavors resonates on the palate through to the long, luscious finish."
- Winery notes
"Decant for forty minutes. Pair this robust zinfandel with grilled country pork ribs and other grilled meat dishes. My favorite vintage yet from winemaker Carol Shelton for Robert Rue."

Rochioli Sauvignon Blanc Estate 2007 750ml
$29.99
Russian River Valley Sauvignon Blanc
Estate
"Forty-eight percent is from our newest planting of a very special and rare clone, forty percent is from the original Sauvignon Blanc vineyard planted in 1959, and twelve percent is from our seventeen year old hillside vineyard. Twenty-five percent of this blend is barrel fermented, which gives this wine its complexity and round texture. The balance is tank fermented to preserve its intense varietal character and firm acidity. 2950 cases were produced." - winery notes
"Another beautiful vintage of Loire Valley-Style Sauvignon Blanc from Rochioli Estate. Grassy, herbaceous flavors mingle with citrus of white grapefruit and firm acidities producing an exquisite seafood wine. A lovely pairing for seared scallops and arugula salad." - John Haggard, Sophie's Cellars

Rose d'Orfeuilles Sparkling Rose 750ml
$17.99
Bernard Hérivault and his son Arnaud have crafted this
elegant sparkling rosé from 100% Malbec (Côt). The skins of the Malbec grapes are so dark that the rosé color is easily extracted and the juice is pressed off immediately before fermentation begins. This artisinal product
is completely hand-crafted using the méthode champenoise (traditional champagne production method that promotes a second fermentation in the bottle). The first aromas are fresh with dark fruit and notes of fresh baked brioche. The refreshing crisp flavors of blueberries and fraise des bois (wild strawberries) just dazzle the palate. With just a hint of sweetness, Rose d'Orfeuilles finishes dry, offering serious complexity to the most discriminating consummers.
