Tandem Pinot Noir Chris Lee Vineyard 2005 750ml
$69.99
Chris Lee Vineyard
Sonoma Valley Pinot Noir
92 pts Wine Enthusiast
"Deep color, intensity, and bright red fruits describe this wine from an ancient volcanic ash field on the lee of Sonoma Mountain. Tiny berries and struggling vines give this wine its powerful character."
- Winery notes
"This small 3-acre vineyard produces distinctive characteristics. It's not suprising year in and year out, different wine makers queue to produce wines from this vineyard. The ripened fruit flavors from this 2005 vintage will pair well with a mildly spicy paella. No decanting necessary. Cellar through 2010."
- John Haggard, Sophie's Cellars

Flowers Pinot Noir Andreen Gale 2005 750ml
$69.99
Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir
"Fruit sourced from 5 estate vineyards in the coolest regions of the Sonoma Coast appellation, including Camp Meeting Ridge, Frances Thompson and Sea View Ridge Vineyards. Dark, ruby color. Fruit aromas of raspberry, cherry and red plum are followed by hints of mineral, dried herbs and orange blossom. This Andreen-Gale expresses the richness and balance of coastal fruit from our estate vineyards. Long supple tannins on the palate are balanced well with a crisp acidity. Enjoy over the next 3-5 years."
- Winery Notes
"A lovely pairing for cornish game hen stuffed with wild rice and mushrooms. No decanting necessary."
- John Haggard, Sophie's Cellars

93 pts Wine Spectator
"70 of Chardonnay (aged in wood) and 30% of Pinot Noir. This blend has been vinified without malo-lactic fermentation. Pale gold robe. A well balanced Cuvee, fruity bouquet with hints of vanilla. Fresh in the mouth, full of flower flavours with notes of citrus, long lasting and elegant."

Lynmar Pinot Noir Quail Hill Vineyard 2005
$69.99
Russian River Valley Pinot Noir
91 pts Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar
"Bright red. Intense raspberry, strawberry, cherry and rose aromas display liqueur-like depth and intensity; picks up smoke and fresh meat qualities with air. Fleshy and dense but with impressive lift to the ripe red and dark fruit flavors. Expands and deepens on the sweet, supple, inviting finish. These are old Swan clones, probably planted in 1972, according to Chappelle."

Legacy Red Wine 2002 750ml
$70.00
Alexander Valley
92 pts Robert Parker
"A blend of 83% Cabernet Sauvignon, 17% Merlot, and the rest Cabernet Franc (over 100%), the 2002 Legacy Proprietary Red is a seductive, hedonistically-styled effort boasting a deep ruby/purple color as well as a big, oaky nose displaying plenty of black cherry, currant, and herbal notes. This full-throttle red comes across like a St.-Emilion on steroids. Chewy and fleshy, it is ideal for drinking now and over the next 10-12 years."

Cain Concept 2004 750ml
$70.00
Napa Valley
Cabernet Sauvignon 61%, Merlot 16%, Cabernet Franc 12%, Petit Verdot 11%
"The year 2004 was a refreshing change after the warm, almost hot years of 2002 and 2003. We were able to wait patiently for the grapes to mature under almost perfect conditions. The lower yields and moderate temperatures gave wines that are more dense and more tightly wound than those of 2002, 2003, or 2005. While it drinks well now, the wine will certainly age extremely well. The 2004 Concept is a rich, dark purple (not ruby). It has a warm cherry-pie nose, and is fragrant, floral, and spicy. A sweet, round entry is followed by smooth, flowing, very refined tannins—just enough to cleanse the palate."
- Winery notes
"Decant a minimum of forty minutes. Cellar now through 2016. This robust red from Cain Vineyards pairs very well with rack of lamb or a twenty-one day dry aged new york steak."
- John Haggard, Sophie's Cellars

The 2001 Barbaresco Serraboella, the house is predictably excellent in this vintage, a dark garnet-ruby with much sweet red fruit, roses, and tar, dense and concentrated flavors, and a firm and swelling close which indicates a dozen years of life ahead.

Quinta de la Rosa Vintage Porto 1992
$79.99
1992 Vintage Port
Portugal
93 pts Robert Parker
"The powerhouse 1992 Vintage Port exhibits a huge, highly extracted, chocolate and black-raspberry-scented nose, full body, unctuously-textured flavors, moderate tannin, and a chewy, long finish. It requires 7-8 years of cellaring as it is revealing more structure than other 1992s. It should keep for 25-30 years."

"The 2004 Cabernet from Lancaster pairs well with robust beef and lamb dishes. Cellar now through 2017. Decant for a minimum of one hour."

Anakota Cabernet Sauvignon 2001 750ml
$79.99
Helena Dakota Vineyard
Knights Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
100% Cabernet Sauvignon
"Sourced exclusively from estate-owned vineyards, Anakota is a collection of single vineyard, single varietal, Knights Valley appellation wines that personify the rustic elegance and spirit of rural Sonoma County. The vibrant, dark ruby color of the 2001 vintage is followed by a vivacious cherry and violet nose. The fruit-forward flavors begin with red berry enhanced by a slight hint of
wood. Helena Dakota's fruit continues to unfold, with chocolate, coffee and a signature of truffle flavor. The impressive structure of this wine, coupled with soft tannins, lends to a long, refined finish."
- Winemaker notes
"Pair with hearty meat dishes such as T-bone steak. No decanting necessary. Cellar through 2014."

Rancho Del Oso
Howell Mountain
Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Russian River Valley Pinot Noir
91 pts Robert Parker
"From the higher elevation 2003 Cabernet Sauvignon Rancho del Oso on Howell Mountain, more chocolate, crushed blueberries, minerals, and vanillin are present in this medium to full-bodied, impressively endowed Cabernet Sauvignon that is more structured and linear than the Monte Rosso. It should drink well for 10-15 years."

Ramey Cabernet Sauvignon Jericho Canyon 2004 750ml
$125.00
Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Jericho Canyon Vineyard
94 pts Robert Parker
"The 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon Jericho Canyon Vineyard has an inky dark ruby/purple color, a wonderfully sweet nose of espresso roast, fudge, blackberry, and cassis with a hint of incense and smoke. The wine is full-bodied, broadly flavored, opulent, and voluptuous, and that in itself seems to give the wine its current appeal, although I think this is a candidate for at least two decades of cellaring."
