$13.99
Central Coast
"Fleur de California's Petite Sirah displays intense aromas of blueberries, peppercorn and nutmeg. Dark in color, once in the mouth, it explodes in flavors of blackberries, vanilla, spice and a hint of black pepper. This is a nice quaffing wine that finishes smooth yet bright and is best served with barbequed pork ribs, teriyaki beef dishes or any type of wild game."

La Storia Petite Sirah 2003 750ml

Alexander Valley
90 pts Robert Parker
"...a sleeper wine is the 2003 La Storia Petite Sirah. This wine shows beautiful graphite, blueberry and blackberry fruit, some floral notes, medium to full body, and abundant power, tannin, and extract. Put it away for 2-3 years and drink it over the following 15 or more years."

"Pair with hearty beef dishes from grilled steak to seared filet mignon. Decant for at least 1 hour should you decide to open this wine to allow the fruit flavors to come forward."

$22.99
Nova Vineyards
Dunnigan Hills
Produced and bottled by Wild Hog Vineyard, Cazadero, Sonoma County.
"This is the second vintage of the Nova Vineyard Petite Sirah. The vineyard is located in Yolo County, in the Dunnigan Hills appellation. Smooth with gentile tannins, and deep dark fruit. Blackberry, chocolate, and hints of smoke. It has a delightful nose, ripe flavors, and an inky color. Big, bold, and wonderfully balanced. Delicious! This wine is young and must breathe for a bit."
